Plans have been submitted seeking pre-application advice on proposals to extend a caravan park in Clay Country.

Manor Park Caravan Park in Resugga Green Lane, Penwithick wants to add around 13 new caravans.

Documents submitted with the application state that the 13 static caravans would be sold on a private holiday ownership basis.

It states that the holiday caravans would be separate from those which are used as residential homes.

The land identified for the extension has previously been used for various purposes including for dog kennels.

Applicants say that the proposals would include regeneration of the land including “significant landscaping”.

It is stated that the application, if submitted, would be for the change of use of the land so that it could be used for the additional caravans.
