Lemon Quay will be transformed for all car lovers to enjoy when Truro Classic Car Show takes place on Sunday, July 30.

Hosted by Truro BID and sponsored by Coodes Solicitors, the show will be a relaxed and rare opportunity to see a wide variety of cherished classic and vintage cars all in one place, including Morris Minor, Jaguar, Mercedes, Bentley, Aston Martin, Whistling Billy steam car and more.

Residents and visitors are being encouraged to come along to browse auto-themed stalls and enjoy live entertainment. Macmillan Cancer Support will be fundraising on the day.

The event follows a more modest classic car display on Lower Lemon Street for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last June. There are still spots available for exhibitors to show off their vintage or classic car, and for stall holders looking to display or sell automobilia, autojumble and auto collectibles – email [email protected]

Truro BID manager Alun Jones said: “We are really looking forward to hosting the Truro Classic Car Show in July, which will help increase footfall into the city for the day and benefit many of our businesses, including hospitality.”

The show will run on Lemon Quay from 10.30am until 3.30pm on Sunday, July 30. For more details, see www.visittruro.org.uk
