A Christmas toy swap is being held in Newquay to help people save money and reduce waste.
The festive eco-friendly toy swap will be staged at the Steam Bar in the Great Western Hotel on Wednesday, December 17, from 4pm.
Accepted Items include games and puzzles, books for children, stuffed animals and holiday-themed toys. Broken items, heavily worn toys, weapons, or anything unsafe will not be accepted.
Becky Leigh who is helping to organise the event, said: “Looking for an extra gift or two for your children this Christmas without spending any money?
“Bring gently used toys and swap them for something new to you while helping reduce waste and support our community.
“This event is perfect for families who want to save money during the holidays, declutter before new gifts arrive and give toys a second life. Bring one or as many gently used toys your child no longer plays with. Toys should be clean, safe, and in good condition. You’ll receive swap tokens.
“Use tokens to “shop” from the toy tables. Leftover toys will be donated to local families.”
