THE Gardens on St Michael’s Mount will open on Sunday, June 15 to support the National Garden Scheme (NGS).

The formal gardens belong to the St Aubyn Family, and have been built over the years since the initial creation of the walled Garden in 1780.

The gardens will be open to the public between 10am to 3.45pm with all proceeds going to the NGS, which raises funds for nursing and health charities.

Thanks to the generosity of garden owners, volunteers and visitors, the NGS have donated over £74-million to charities such as Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Support. The scheme made an annual donation of over £3.5-million last year.
