A stretch of the A30 in Cornwall was blocked yesterday due to a vehicle that had flipped onto its side after crashing into the central reservation.
The incident, which took place at the A3047, near Scorrier, yesterday morning (Tuesday, October 28) at around 7am, caused delays for those travelling from the Camborne to Blackwater bypasses.
An ambulance crew were in attendance following the single vehicle collision which partially blocked the A30 eastbound at A3047 Scorrier.
The road on the way to Truro was cleared and traffic returned to normal before 10am with no road closures needing to take place.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 7.10am on Tuesday 28 October following a report of a single vehicle collision on the A30 eastbound at Scorrier.
It was reported that a van was in collision with the central reservation and ended up on its side.
Ambulance attended and checked over the driver. The road was clear by 8.10am.”
