A CAR was “fully engulfed in fire” on the A39 at Perranarworthal yesterday morning [Sunday, January 4]. Cornwall Fire and Rescue received multiple calls to the incident, which was logged at 9.53am. One appliance from Truro Fire Station attended and used two breathing apparatus and two hosereels to extinguish the fire. Devon and Cornwall Police attended the incident for traffic management.
