CAMBORNE Science & International Academy (CSIA) has announced the launch of its new in-house catering service, designed to provide students with high-quality, nutritious meals that support their health and well-being.
Starting this term, the school is bringing food services in-house to ensure that every meal served is as fresh, balanced, and delicious as possible.
The core aim of the new service is to offer students nutritious, tasty meals at the best possible value. Every penny raised from meal sales will be reinvested directly into the catering service, ensuring that the quality of food remains high, and that future improvements can continue to be made.
The new catering service will feature a menu designed to encourage healthy eating, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. Where possible, ingredients will be sourced from local producers to ensure the meals are as fresh and sustainable as possible. By prioritising local produce, the school is aiming to make a real difference in the diets of its students while supporting the local economy.
In addition to the focus on nutrition, the school is committed to the health and well-being of its entire school community. The new catering service will help ensure that every student has access to balanced meals throughout the school day, providing the energy and nutrients they need to perform their best in both class and extracurricular activities.
Emma Haase, principal of CSIA said:“We are thrilled to be able to offer a fresh, in-house catering experience for our students. Our catering team is passionate about creating meals that are not only delicious but also nutritious and locally sourced wherever possible.
“By doing this, we’re not just providing food; we’re also supporting the local community and making sure our students are getting the best possible start in the day.”
