BUSINESSES are being called upon to help create a festive atmosphere in Newquay.

Newquay BID is launching its annual Christmas window competition to boost footfall.

BID manager Mark Warren said: “After the amazing entries we saw for our Halloween window competition, it’s time for another chance to shine.

“We’re excited to launch our Christmas window competition, and we’re calling on Newquay businesses to help us create a festive atmosphere throughout the town.

“Shop windows are often the first impression for customers, and a magical display can help draw footfall, spread cheer, and make Newquay sparkle this season.

“We’ve already seen some wonderful festive windows appearing, but we’d love to see even more businesses get involved. Whether businesses go classic, quirky, or completely original, this is their opportunity to show off their creativity and help bring the Christmas spirit to life.

“I will be out and about judging one day during Christmas week the exact date will be confirmed soon! “Let’s make Newquay shine brighter than ever this Christmas. Get decorating, get creative, and let’s celebrate the season together.”
