A free one-day festival celebrating Newquay was held on last Saturday.
Various organisations showcased their work at the Connecting on the Court event held at the Killacourt, which was attended by hundreds of people.
There was an array of stalls and stands featuring information and demonstrations showcasing organisations across well-being, campaign groups, businesses and community groups including Newquay Orchard, Blystra Arts, SproutSpoken and Cornwall Pride.
Other groups taking part included Age UK, Babel Fish, Man Down CIC, Newquay Foodbank, Newquay Green Party, Newquay Marine Group, Newquay Band, the Liberal Democrats, Newquay in Bloom and Newquay Methodists.
The SproutSpoken stage featured interviews, live performances, music, spoken word, dance and Squashbox Theatre’s family show Skillywidden.
The Blystra Arts Zone organised arts, crafts and activities while Youth Art Connect staged a drop-in splatt tent.
Dicky Souray from SproutSpoken, who helped to organise Connecting on the Court, said: “It was a fantastic event for Newquay with such a diverse range of people and organisations, celebrating what it means to belong to the town.”
