Emergency services rescued a casualty in a remote part of the Gannel on Friday afternoon.
Cornwall Air Ambulance critical care team, Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team and South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust attended the incident at 1.30pm.
The air ambulance team stabilised the patient before the Coastguard team stretchered the casualty back along the estuary to safety before handing them over to an ambulance crew for further treatment.

A Coastguard spokesperson said: “We wish them a speedy recovery.
Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust with a casualty at Porth Beach on Saturday at 2.45pm.
The team cared for the casualty and their dog before stretchering them off the beach and handing them over to the ambulance crew.
