Cocker spaniel owners are invited to attend a fun event at Watergate Bay Beach on Sunday.

Jody Woolcock, founder and walk leader of Cornwall’s friendly walking group, Cornish Ramblings, is organising the third annual Cocker Spaniel Meet Up between 10am and 12.30pm.

She welcomed nearly 150 spaniels to the beach at last year’s event and this year, Cornish Ramblings wants to make it even bigger and better.

Jody  said: “After the success of 2019 and 2022’s Cocker Spaniel Meet-up, we are excited to welcome those of you with cocker spaniels or mixed breeds of cockers to Watergate Bay Beach for a chaotic yet fun few hours on the sand, where your darling doggo’s can have a joyful playdate with other hounds who are coming together from across Cornwall, and beyond.

“In an attempt to get as many of our beloved dogs in one place at the same time, Cornish Ramblings is calling on all cocker spaniel owners to get your cockers out…again!

"I will be waiting to greet you and your dogs at the bottom of the slipway that leads you down to Watergate Bay Beach at 10am, where you will all congregate together and meet other dogs and their owners.”
