Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision which happened on the A391 in St Austell on Wednesday, November 30.

Officers were notified at around 8.30pm to the incident which involved a black Honda CBF 125cc motorcycle. The collision occurred on a roundabout junction with Carclaze Road, St Austell.

As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist suffered life-changing injuries and was taken to Treliske Hospital.

Local officers, along with those from the alliance roads policing team, attended the scene.

Once a thorough examination had been conducted the road was re-opened.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information regarding the incident, in particular anyone with dashcam footage, are asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police via 101 quoting log number 784 30/11/22.
