Police have identified the body of a woman found in woodland in Camborne area earlier this month.

An appeal was issued on Thursday May 21, after a body was found in the Pendarves Woods area.

The woman’s next of kin have been identified and informed.

Her death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious at this time.

A file is being prepared for the coroner.

A police spokesperson said: “We would like to thank members of the public for their help in this matter.”

An e-fit and images of a necklace found on the woman were previously released as part of the investigation in a bid to identify her.
