DETECTIVES are appealing to the public for information after a man was presented at a hospital in Cornwall with serious head and facial injuries.
A man in his 30s was taken to West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance shortly after 10pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 22), by two unknown persons who have not yet been identified.
It is suspected that the man had been assaulted, and he has since been taken to Derriford with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Numerous enquiries are underway – including CCTV – to determine the circumstances surrounding the victim’s injuries.
Officers are appealing to anybody who may have any information to get in touch. They are particularly keen to hear from the two members of the public who took the injured party to hospital, or from anybody who may be able to identify them.
