REPORTS involving threats to kill in Penzance have been received by Devon and Cornwall Police.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and footage following the incident on April 3.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “The incident took place in the car park of Tesco in Branwell Lane at around 4pm on Thursday, April 3.

“It was reported a man was approached and threatened, before a brief altercation between suspect and victim took place.”

A man in his 30s from the St Ives area has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and has been released on police bail.
