FIRE crews have been called out to a motorbike fire, a shed fire and a large hay fire in Cornwall.

A crew from St Austell went to Park Way in the town in the early hours of Friday (August 7) to tackle the motorbike on fire. They used a hosereel jet to put out the flames.

Shortly afterwards, crews from Mullion and Helston attended a call to a shed on fire at Beacon Terrace in the Lizard village. They too used a hosereel jet to put out the fire.

Crews from Bodmin, Wadebridge and Liskeard went to the hay fire near Washaway. This started on Thursday afternoon and firefighters were still on the scene on Friday morning. They had to dismantle haystacks to tackle the fire within.
