EMERGENCY services rescued an injured woman after receiving reports she had made her way to a Newquay cliff edge.
Police, Newquay and Padstow Coastguard teams, Newquay RNLI lifeboats and the ambulance service attended the incident below the Huer’s Hut in Dane Road on Wednesday, June 3 at about 8pm.

A spokesperson for Newquay Coastguard said: “We were tasked to assist Devon & Cornwall Police with a casualty near the Huers Hut.
“The team rigged for a technical rescue with the lifeboats standing by.
“All assets were stood down once the casualty was in the hands of the ambulance service.”
A police spokesperson added: “We were called following a concern for welfare for a woman. She was taken to a place of safety and then on to hospital.”
