DETECTIVES have released images of a piece of jewellery as part of efforts to identify a woman found deceased in woods in Camborne.

Officers have distributed images of the front and back of a necklace found on the woman discovered in the Killivose area on Sunday, May 3, at 7.45am.

The death is being treated as “unexplained” but is not believed to be suspicious at this time.

A police spokesperson said: “Since the discovery, detectives have been working to try and establish the woman’s identity and also the exact circumstances surrounding her death.

“As part of the investigation, we are releasing the images of the front and back of a necklace found on the woman in the hope that somebody may be able to recognise it and assist with the identification process.”
