TRURO City will travel to Southern League Division South side Tavistock for their maiden pre-season game ahead of the 2025/26 National League campaign.

The Tinners’ trip to Langsford Park will take place on Friday, July 11 with a 7.30pm kick-off.

City were scheduled to face off against the Lambs during the side’s last pre-season campaign. However, owing to heavy summer rain, that fixture was cancelled and instead, Truro travelled to fierce familiar foes Falmouth Town, for the Aubrey Wilkes Trophy.

Full details of Truro’s other pre-season fixtures will be released in due course.

City have also found out a number of key dates ahead of the new season.

The eagerly-awaited fixture release date, when City will find out their maiden Step One opponents, is Wednesday, July 9.

Just a month later, on Saturday, August 9, all three leagues (National League, National League North and National League South) begin.

In a slight change to the 2024/25 campaign, all three leagues will end on Saturday, April 25.

The play-off finals from all three National League divisions, will take place over the weekend of Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026 – that compared to last term when play-off matches started in April and didn’t end until early June.

Of Truro’s 23 opponents in the National League, they have only ever faced nine, in the shape of Boreham Wood, Brackley Town, Braintree Town, Eastleigh, Forest Green Rovers, Sutton United, Wealdstone, Woking and Yeovil Town.

It means plenty of travelling and exciting journeys for the supporters with the league as follows: Aldershot, Altrincham, Boreham Wood, Boston United, Brackley Town, Braintree Town, Carlisle United, Eastleigh, Forest Green Rovers, Gateshead, Hartlepool United, Morecambe, Rochdale, Scunthorpe United, Solihull Moors, Southend United, Sutton United, Tamworth, Truro City, Wealdstone, Woking, Yeovil Town and York City.
