NEWQUAY AFC celebrated a historic 2024/25 campaign by holding their annual presentation night held at Mount Wise on Saturday, May 31.
Three of the five senior teams secured promotion as not only did the first team win the South West Peninsula League Premier West title, but the thirds won St Piran League Division Four East, while the newly-formed ladies went up from Cornwall Women’s League Division One.

The reserves enjoyed a solid campaign in St Piran League Division One East, while the veterans were runners-up to Halsetown in the West Division of the Cornwall Veterans League.
The first team will be in the Western League Premier Division next term for the first time in their history.

Shaun Middleton’s Manager’s Player went to Cam Turner after his transition from midfield to the defence, while his centre-back partner, skipper Harry Downing, secured the joint players’ player alongside top scorer Louis Price. Jack Hunter picked up the Chairman’s Award.
The versatile Phil Lowry took the first team Clubman Award with Jobe Waite (Reserves), Jobe Waite (Thirds), Karen Marsden (Ladies) and Rosie Capeling and Nathan Beavis (Vets) the other winners.

The Clubperson of the Year went to James Middleton.
