Cornwall FA have announced two appointments. Rob Finnamore joins as football development officer with Matt Liddle becoming the new marketing and communications officer.

Rob studied at the University of Liverpool, where he obtained a degree in business management. He joins having spent the last four years in various roles with Asahi UK, most recently operating as the key account manager.

Rob is involved in the grassroots game as both a player and coach for his local side Newquay RBL.

Matt, originally from Gloucester, studied Economics and Modern Languages at the University of Warwick. During this time he also spent a year in Germany working for media agency MMC Sport.

A keen supporter of the women’s game, he has been marketing officer at Cheltenham Town Ladies FC since his return to England.

Matt said: “My goal is to get as many people as possible involved in local football. This role at the County FA offers me the perfect chance to do that.”
