FIRSTLY, I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted for me in the recent election. Your support has granted me the privilege of serving as your Reform UK councillor for St Mewan and Grampound, and I am deeply committed to representing you all with dedication and transparency.
My first few weeks have been a whirlwind of learning and engagement. I’ve been immersed in training sessions and have spent time at County Hall, gaining a deeper understanding of local governance and the responsibilities of my role. This grounding is essential to ensure I can serve our community effectively.
I’ve attended parish council meetings in both Grampound and St Ewe, where I’ve listened to local concerns and begun to grasp the unique challenges and opportunities in our area. These meetings have been invaluable for connecting with residents and understanding the issues that matter most to you.
I’ve also been approached by many of you with a range of concerns, from local infrastructure to community initiatives. Each conversation has reinforced my commitment to being an accessible and responsive councillor. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting inspiring individuals from across our wards, whose passion for our community is truly motivating.
Moving forward, I promise to keep you informed through regular updates here and on other channels, ensuring you’re aware of my work and how I’m addressing your priorities. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected St Mewan and Grampound. Thank you again for your trust – I’m excited to get to work.
