Bodmin Airfield is inviting vulnerable residents to use its facilities as a warm space this winter.
The clubhouse, at Cardinham, is fully centrally heated and will be kept warm every day, throughout the winter between 8.30am and 5pm.
An airfield duty manager will be available throughout the day, located upstairs in the tower, should anyone require assistance.
The clubhouse has a number of tables and chairs for people to gather around to enable them to socialise.
The tables can also be used by small groups, such as craft groups, who wish to meet and continue their activities. They can, in addition, be used for discussion meetings.
There are also four sofa settees for more relaxed socialising.
There is a remote-controlled television in the club lounge for those who enjoy daytime television, and a log-burning stove fire if anyone wants more heat and enjoys sitting in front of a roaring fire.
There are also male and female toilets within the clubhouse. Everything is accessible for those with limited mobility or who may be wheelchair-bound.
