Police searching for 21-year-old Jack Thomas, who was reported missing from the Cornwall area on Sunday, June 11, have found the body of a man.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "The body was located in the Chiverton area at around 12.55pm on Monday, 12 June. Formal identification is yet to take place.
"The family of Mr Thomas have been informed of this development. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
"Officers would like to thank members of the public for assisting in area searches."
Jack Thomas’s last known whereabouts was in the area of Chiverton Cross Roundabout in the early hours of Sunday, June 11.
It was understood that Jack had been travelling in a vehicle that was involved in a serious collision and officers were concerned that he may have sustained a serious injury and could require medical treatment.
