Nightclubs in Newquay are set to play host to some of the biggest names in dance music as part of the Boardmasters Music Festival.
Boardmasters Presents, formerly known as After Parties, will be a series of parties taking place over five nights at Berties and Sailors, which will feature artists including Charlie Tee, Luude, Ben Hemsley, Danny Howard and Jodie Harsh.
Boardmasters Presents will kick off at Berties on Wednesday, August 9, with Luude, the Aussie electro-dance artist. He will be joined by Charlie Tee, the first permanent female host of BBC Radio 1’s drum ‘n’ bass show.
On Thursday, the party will continue at Berties with Ben Hemsley playing his feelgood anthems.
Boardmasters Presents then lands at Sailors for Friday night’s party, with Girls Don’t Sync, the female DJ collective made up of Matty Chiabi, G33, Sophia Violet and Hannah Lynch. They’ll be joined by Cornwall’s own Charlie Boon.
Saturday night will see Sailors host Jodie Harsh, who is known for her trademark beehive, fierce energy and banging DJ sets.
The Saturday line-up also includes the Irish duo, Belters Only.
On the final day of the festival, Sunday night at Sailors is set to bring Boardmasters to a close for another year, with BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard on the decks, with special guests soon to be revealed.
Boardmasters Music Festival at Watergate Bay will be headlined by Lorde, Liam Gallagher and Florence + The Machine.
More than 120 artists will be taking part.
The World Surf League will return to Fistral Beach for the Boardmasters Open, which will feature some of the most progressive and exciting names in international pro surfing.
