RAF St Mawgan has been inspiring the next generation.

The airbase welcomed 12 enthusiastic Year 10 students from across Cornwall for an immersive week designed to introduce them to life in the Royal Air Force.

The programme aimed to offer a broad understanding of RAF operations and highlight the diverse career opportunities available both across the service and at RAF St Mawgan itself.

Sergeant Dave Mutton, the lead organiser, said: “The week was an excellent opportunity for the teenagers to try something new, make new friends and learn new skills. Hopefully we will have inspired them to consider a role in the RAF in the future.

“The initiative not only showcased the dynamic environment of RAF St Mawgan but also reinforced the station's commitment to youth development and community outreach.”
