A holiday business held an open day – and showed visitors a railway carriage built for Queen Victoria.
Railholiday in St Germans offers holiday accommodation in converted railway carriages.
At present, the company is working to restore the carriage built for the monarch in Victorian times.
Open day visitors enjoyed looking around the carriages and walking around snowdrop woods. A total of over £500 was raised for charity – the majority of the money going to St Germans youth groups, who ran a refreshment stall, with £130 also donated to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.

Director Dave Stroud said “It was a great pleasure to see everyone enjoying the site. We’ve started working on a saloon built for Queen Victoria, so it was good to be able to show the work we are doing.
"We’ve got a long way to go with it, so to be able to showcase the carriages we’ve finished alongside this as yet fairly unrestored project was a good way of illustrating how an ambitious vision can become reality.”
