Police have conducted a road safety operation in Saltash.
Officers carried out stops, including a lorry stop, along Liskeard Road and words of advice were given to motorists exceeding the 30mph speed limit by driving between 36mph and 39mph.
One motorist was also advised to go for an eyesight test.
In addition, six traffic offences were reported for driving at over 40mph along the road.
Three drivers were reported for driving at 41mph, one at 42mph, one at 43mph and one at 45mph. One of these motorists was also found to be driving other than in accordance with a licence.
In another incidence, tints were removed from the window of a vehicle.
The cases of three owners with insurance document issues were also resolved.
Meanwhile, police gave words of advice to seven motorists for driving along New Road at between 36mph and 39mph.
Traffic offence reports were made for one motorist driving at 39mph-plus and for another going at 45mph.
Defects were found on various vehicles including two headlights faults and one brake lighting offence. A trailer was found to be unroadworthy and was taken off the road for collection.
Police gave words of advice to motorists driving along the A388 at Carkeel, one for a noisy exhaust, four for lighting offences and one for defective brake lights.
One driver was reported for not wearing a seatbelt.
A spokesman for Saltash Police said: “We were offering road safety education and relevant enforcements where necessary.”
