PEOPLE are invited to step back in time at an Elizabethan manor house in Newquay.
The National Trust’s Trerice is running Tudor-themed May half term activities.

Specialist falconers, Raphael Historic Falconry, will be donning Tudor outfits and combining birds, stories, costumes as well as history to provide educational entertainment.
Flying demonstrations will be at 11am, 1pm and 3pm in the mowhay field at Trerice, and visitors will be able to view resting birds in a recreation Hawk Mews, chat to the Elizabethan falconers and listen to period stories.
There are different activities every day including family-friendly archery, outdoor performances from the Tudor gardener, and a costume day where visitors get the chance to dress up as Tudors for themselves.

Gareth Lay, the general manager for the National Trust at Trerice, said: “We’re really excited to have Raphael Historic Falconry back at Trerice after the success of their visit last year.
“As a result of its success, we’re hosting them for an extra day amongst lots of other Tudor activities for the whole half term week.”
