A bright and sunny day was enjoyed by members of one of the Plymouth & Truro District Oddfellows Friendship Groups who gathered at Helston’s Coronation Park and Boating Lake.
Members received a short history of the park and lake which was established in 1912 to commemorate the Coronation of King George V and completed and officially opened in July of that year.
The ever popular Oddfellows puzzle sheets were distributed to take away and members enjoyed some tea, coffee and ice creams.
Those up for a stroll, walked around the lake and enjoyed viewing the wide range of birds which make the beautiful spot their home.
