The sixth annual Cornwall Heritage Awards are now open for applications, celebrating and sharing the achievements of the heritage community in Cornwall.  

Cornwall Museums Partnership and South West Museum Development recognise the excellence of Cornish museums and heritage organisations, which can nominate themselves for one or more categories.  

Those shortlisted will be invited to the award ceremony on Wednesday, February 7 at Heartlands, Pool, to take place following an afternoon symposium.    

Categories include Collaboration, Innovation, Workplace Wellbeing, Heritage Heroes, Leader of the Year, One to Watch (for outstanding contribution by a volunteer aged under 25) and Exhibition of the Year.  

The Object of the Year category is always hotly contested, inviting for objects that tell the stories of Cornwall’s landscapes and places to be judged through an online public vote.
