A new post office has been delivered to St Columb Major.
St Columb Post Office has opened at 3 Market Place, which will provide 44 hours of post office service a week.
It is a new-style local branch with Post Office services provided alongside the retail counter of the new specialist shop.
The premises, which were empty, were refurbished to provide a shop selling wines, beers, gifts, deli and quality niche products.
A Post Office spokesman said: “The previous branch in Fore Street had been operated on our behalf by a temporary operator and we looked for a permanent solution to safeguard service to the community."
The opening hours are Monday to Friday: 9am – 1pm and 2 - 6pm; Saturday: 9am – 1pm.
There is a time restricted car park and roadside parking available nearby.
