A GOLF event organised in memory of a former member of Porthpean Golf Club, near St Austell, has raised £2,000 for charity.

Sam Bray held the David Bray Memorial Golf Event at the club in memory of his dad who passed away back in 2022 from myeloma blood cancer.

David loved a round of golf with his friends at the Porthpean club, followed by a beer.

The memorial event consisted of a golf tournament and a raffle, with £2,000 being raised for Myeloma UK.

The winners of the memorial tournament were Brett Wilson, Keith Grigg, Darren Carhart and Gavin McAuley.
