IN an evening defined by energy, performance, and purpose, professional football freestyler Jay Rosa delivered an unforgettable experience for supporters at Truro City — but his mission stretches far beyond one match.

Since January 2023, Rosa has been undertaking a nationwide challenge - to perform at all 116 professional stadiums across the National League, EFL, and Premier League.

Each stop raises awareness for Mind Charity and promotes open conversations about mental health within the football community. His tour is a blend of sport, entertainment, and social impact, connecting fans and clubs across the country with a meaningful message.

At the Truro City Stadium on Tuesday night, Rosa began the evening in the WAX Marquee during the club sponsors’ pre-match event. He delivered a live freestyle set and participated in an in-depth interview about his tour, sharing the purpose behind his 116-stadium mission.

Guests also had the chance to meet him personally, and Rosa spent time teaching fans of all ages basic freestyle skills, making the experience interactive and engaging.

At half-time during the Tinners’ National League Cup clash with West Ham United U21, Rosa stepped onto the pitch to perform for over 2,200 spectators. His high-energy routine, packed with intricate tricks and rapid footwork, drew applause from the stands.

Rosa’s commitment to connecting with supporters didn’t end after the performance. He stayed to sign autographs, take photos, and work directly with young fans to demonstrate new skills, reinforcing the heart of his tour: using football as a platform to inspire, connect, and spark important conversations about mental wellbeing.

“This tour is about more than just football,” says Rosa. “It’s about connection, awareness, and reminding people they’re not alone. If showcasing my passion on the pitch helps even one person feel seen, heard, or inspired to seek support — then every mile, every performance, is worth it.”

Major clubs including Fulham, Brighton and Swansea City have supported his appearances as he continues working toward completing all 116 stadiums.
