Firefighters had to wear breathing apparatus as they battled to bring a car fire under control.

The crew from Tolvaddon was sent to the scene on the B3301 at Gwithian on the evening of January 27.

They used two hose reel jets to put out the fire, which has been classed as accidental and confined.
