Emergency services were scrambled to help a casualty at East Pentire Point on Monday night.
Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust at 11pm.
Newquay RNLI Lifeboats and St Agnes Coastguard Search and Rescue Team were also tasked to assist. Once the casualty has been located the team cared for them prior to handing them over to the ambulance service.
A Coastguard spokesperson said: “If you see someone in difficulty along the coast, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.”
