Cornish Metals has announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate ('MRE') for the South Crofty Tin Mine in Cornwall.

The updated MRE indicates a 39% increase in tonnes and a 31.6% increase in contained tin in the Indicated Mineral Resource category when compared to the 2021 MRE.

A majority of the new Mineral Resources are contained within the central part of the mine, and major lode structures that comprise the Mineral Resource remain open along strike and at depth.

Richard Williams, CEO and Director, stated; "This is another positive development for South Crofty as we advance the Project through to delivery of a Feasibility Study ("FS") by the end of 2024 and continue to demonstrate the potential to increase the Project's Mineral Resource and mine life.

“The updated MRE will be incorporated into the FS mine plan scheduled for release before the end of 2024."
