Phil Strugnell, the lead teacher of art and photography at Newquay Tretherras Academy, said: “We as a department are so proud of our GCSE and A level art and photography students.
“Having this opportunity to showcase the students work in the middle of our community is really important to us.
“The students have worked so hard to produce this amazing work and the exhibition shows their individuality and creativity.
“Art is such an important part of the school curriculum for many reasons, and a large part of our local economy is generated through small businesses in the creative industries. We are helping students get ready for these career paths.
The exhibition runs until Tuesday, July 22 during cinema opening hours.
Mr Strugnell said: “Please pop down and see the work on display.”
